Gasthof Zum Lamm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Very disappointing!!! Were passing through as a family and wanted to go out to eat quickly (max. 1 1/2 hours). The wait staff quickly gave us the menu but then the performance went downhill .... We ordered drinks, soups and main course in one go and were amazed that the waitress wanted to flee after every sentence ... there was no intelligent answer to questions! Soups came only after about 40 minutes ... The main course came again after another 45 minutes and then only lukewarm, unseasoned and the soup dishes were not cleared away ... We could have given each other the dessert ... we each ordered a coffee + dessert, after a long wait we got the coffee and about 30 minutes when I was about to go in the almost cold desserts ... (crepes and apple strudel understand each other understandably as warm) Everyone in this respectable industry knows this is served together. Because our hot drinks were then cold ... The highlight was when the bill came ... There were a few items listed that no one could explain or items that could not be understood ... unfortunately only saw this after the return home .. Too long waiting times (it was really not busy) overstrained waitresses and rather poor food which the high prices in no way justify! And things that have not been ordered! We strongly advise against visiting this restaurant ... around the corner you will definitely find much better establishments! The prices would have been absolutely okay with good service, half the waiting time and unpleasant surprises ... but that was a bottomless cheek ... we were said goodbye even though the desserts weren't there yet. In this sense .... stay away from there !!!

Food was good but unfortunately waited over an hour for two schnitzel.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a good impression- room very small, announced mountain view only very limited- beds not all covered on arrival- breakfast with rolls baked several times, coffee had probably been in the thermos for a long time ... service staff friendly- in the end: that Dinner in the restaurant was not enjoyable !!!!! Conclusion: price / performance ratio not ok for us the first and last stay.

The rooms are clean but also quite old (it squeaks and crunches everywhere) which is annoying. What is more, the beds make noises with every movement. Then we come to breakfast, there are baked rolls in a small bread basket but mostly not enough for 2 people. From 8 a.m. you can go to the breakfast room where the service is just starting to set up breakfast, so if you want to have breakfast on time you have to bring some time with you. Overall, unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not at all right, for € 250 for 2 nights a better service should be offered. But if you don't value comfort, you've come to the right place.

Beautiful experience! Kudos to the chef of this hotel. The dishes were delicious! Recommended Rinderfilet mit Krauterbutter vom Grill ... We will definitely be back!

We waited almost an hour for food, only one waiter for over 10 tables, the food was almost inedible, frozen pretzels and chicken wings were pre-fried and would be served to us warmed up. We'd better go elsewhere for a pleasant evening.

How to serve a lukewarm wheat beer is a mystery to me. This goes with a roast pork with red cabbage and dumplings that were not in the microwave long enough. Tastes OK, but just like that.

We were pleasantly surprised. So inconspicuous and still totally great. Nice service, drinks and food was very quick and tasted really great. So all in all a great restaurant which we can definitely recommend.

The staff was very kind, nice and helpful. Nice hotel in a great location - it is near the bus stations of main bus lines and of course near the center. A ski rental in front of the house. Very convenient to reach the ski lifts. Nice restaurant with Bavarian and european kitchen on first floor. Very comfortable rooms with great views.

Old man working there, maybe the owner, very rude and totally opposite to friendly and approachable. Average food, cold and pre made. Would not recommend

Very impressive and kind local place

The food is phenomenal. Just as good as other highly-rated restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All five people in our group ordered different meals and everyone was impressed. Service was good. The gentleman and woman who came to our table were friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We can’t wait to return.

Right in the center. Small cozy hotel. Unfortunately, few parking spaces. But nice helpful staff. Bathroom was a bit small. Clean and orderly!
